[The Hero’s Sword] As long as they have the ability to die, they are treated as “weapons" without human rights, and are ordered to operate inhumanely in special operations on enemy territory, and are also used on a daily basis to properly deal with soldiers.

What they were ordered to do was to play a role as abandoned stone, called “support to help the friendly forces withdrawal."
